The ECO-TRAP from ProEco Products attracts and kills mosquitoes within a half acre area without harmful chemicals. The trap mimics the natural conditions of humans by emitting heat, light, odorless carbon dioxide and attractant to lure mosquitoes.

The ECO-TRAP generates carbon dioxide which is the same gas that people expel during respiration from two bulbs that react with a titanium dioxide coating inside the trap. When the mosquitoes are lured inside the device, an integrated fan traps the insects and sends them to a removable net where they die of dehydration.

Unlike propane systems that require frequent refills or electrocution traps that release pathogens when an insect is killed, the ECO-TRAP is easy to maintain and does not create negative biological agents.
